On Saturday, October 19, 2024, when bandits brutally killed Hon. Kamilu Sa’idu Wuya, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) councillorship aspirant, just hours after he purchased a nomination form.
The incident occurred on the Gusau-Mayanchi road, where the bandits intercepted Wuya’s vehicle and abducted his entourage.
According to reports, Wuya and his team were returning to Wuya village in Anka Local Government Area after obtaining the nomination form.
The bandits shot Wuya in the leg and left him behind, taking his entourage with them. Unfortunately, Wuya succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
