APC Suspends Former Osun Governor, Ogbeni Aregbesola

The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the former Minister of Interior and Former Osun Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola due to alleged anti-party activities.
This decision was made official in a resolution submitted to the APC National Secretariat, addressed to National Chairman Dr. Umar Ganduje.
According to the Osun APC, Aregbesola’s actions have created divisions within the party which has threatened cohesion and unity, particularly during a critical period in Osun politics.
The state party chapter views Aregbesola’s actions as a significant threat to the party’s stability and unity. By establishing a splinter faction, he has allegedly disrupted the party’s internal dynamics, making it challenging to present a united front.
Aregbesola is yet to respond to the allegations and announcement.
