Former Vice President Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo’s brother, Alhaji Suleiman Sambo, has passed away at the age of 82 after a long battle with illness.
He is survived by his loving wife, 11 children, 52 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.
Alhaji Suleiman Sambo dedicated 35 years of his life to serving in the Department of Government Printing within the defunct Ministry of Information and Home Affairs in Kaduna State. His commitment and hard work earned him the position of Chief Superintendent before retiring in 1994.
His funeral, held at the Bashama Road Cemetery, was a gathering of family, relatives, and sympathizers. Former Vice President Namadi Sambo, religious leaders, and traditional leaders were in attendance, paying their respects to a life well-lived.
This isn’t the first time Vice President Namadi Sambo has experienced the loss of a brother. Previously, he lost his younger brother, Captain Yusuf Sabo Sambo, in a tragic car accident in Abuja.
