A Nigerian lawyer and pastor’s wife, Princess Jemimah, has advised mothers to check their young daughters’ virginity.
She shared a method for checking virginity, which was passed down to her by her mother.
Princess Jemimah emphasized her belief in purity, stating, “You can call me old fashioned, outdated or whatever, but I believe in purity & I also believe that I have a role to play in my children’s life (both male & female) to ensure that they continue to keep themselves.”
She stressed that her motivation for promoting purity is not for the sake of future husbands, but rather “for GOD’S glory.”
Princess Jemimah reflected on her personal experience, revealing that she lost her battle against sexual immorality many years ago. She attributed this to becoming too comfortable with a partner she was planning to marry.
She cautioned, “If all my focus was on GOD during my purity journey before marriage, I would have stayed strong till the end.”
The lawyer and pastor’s wife then shared the method for checking virginity, as passed down by her mother. She said,
“Let the child lie down flat on the ground. With her pànts off, she should spread out her legs very well. Pin your two fingers on the two edges of her vàgina. Stretch it slightly. Check for its openness & depth, it will have a lot to reveal about such a child’s state of chastity.”
Princess Jemimah warned mothers to remain calm and composed if they receive a negative result, encouraging them to engage in open and non-judgmental conversations with their daughters. She shared that one of her own daughters, who reported being sexually abused by her brother and his friends at the age of six.
