Free Train Rides to all Nigerians from December 20 to January 5 – Federal Government

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, revealed on Monday, December 16, that the government will be offering free train rides to all Nigerians from December 20 to January 5.
He said this initiative aims to make it easier for people to travel and celebrate the Christmas festivities with their loved ones.
According to Idris, free train rides will be available on all routes where train services are currently operational.
Idris made this announcement while briefing journalists on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting. He emphasized that this gesture is a demonstration of the government’s commitment to making life easier for its citizens, especially during the festive season.
The free train ride initiative will commence on December 20, 2024, and will run until January 5, 2025.
