Gunmen Abduct 46 People in Zamfara

Unidentified gunmen abducted at least 46 people, including women and children, during a raid on Sunday evening in Gana town, Zamfara State.
The attack, which took place around 10 pm, was carried out by multiple gunmen on motorbikes who shot and burned several homes and businesses.
Eyewitnesses recounted the scene, describing how the gunmen shot carelessly, causing residents to flee into nearby bushes. The assailants then conducted a house-to-house search, abducting women and children who were unable to escape.
A similar kidnapping occurred about a month ago in Kakidawa, Gidan Goga district, Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, where 43 people were reportedly abducted.
