Reports indicate that over 30,000 residents are currently under evacuation orders, with numerous celebrities among those displaced by the fires. Hopkins’ elegant four-bedroom, five-bathroom colonial-style property, which he purchased in 2021, was among the many structures consumed by the flames.
The iconic actor, known for his Oscar-winning performance in The Silence of the Lambs, had acquired the Pacific Palisades residence as a new chapter in his life. He got this after selling his long-time Malibu oceanfront home for $10.5 million—a property he had owned since 2001 and sold for more than double its purchase price.
