The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Bauchi State Command has arrested a 20-year-old man, Ibrahim Saudiq, for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl in Misau Local Government Area.
According to Saminu J Yusuf, the command’s spokesman, Saudiq was arrested on December 27, 2024, after he allegedly lured the victim, Aisha Muda, to an uncompleted building and sexually assaulted her.
Yusuf disclosed this information in a statement on January 9, 2025, while parading Saudiq alongside nine other suspects arrested for vandalism and theft in the state. The spokesman emphasized that Saudiq’s actions were a serious offense, stating, “On the 27th Dec, 2024, at Misau local government, Ibrahim Saudiq, male, 20yrs from Misau was arrested by NSCDC personnel for forcefully having carnal knowledge of a 12-year-old girl named Aisha Muda from Misau, in an uncompleted building.”
