The Federal Government has said despite the economic challenges bedeviling the nation, President Muhammad Buhari administration has liberated more Nigerians from poverty and it’s still on track to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by the end of his administration in 2023.

This was disclosed by Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, on Monday in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Sani-Gwarzo, who spoke during the launching of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme, GEEP 2.0, said the president has put smiles on the faces of the poor and vulnerable Nigerians.
