Emily Chang who has been Bloomberg Technology’s anchor and host for 12 years has finally retired her position for her next gig, she said this today in an emotional statement as the rest of her Bloomberg Technology ‘family’ gathered around her to pay thier final respect.
Emily said she is moving on to expand Bloomberg’s coverage by launching new shows on Bloomberg Technology that will focus on the most important people at the heart of Tech, business and culture which will be a weekly show that she will be hosting.
“Technology has thrust us into a massive experiment in human history and I want to know how society life, how we are changing as a result and try to capture the Zeit Geist.”
She said when she came to Silicon valley Uber and Airbnb were just starting to rise from the ashes of the financial crises. Emily was emotional as she gave this speech, this means the new show will no longer be hosted by her.
