Netherland’s Virgil Van Dijk was at a sport press conference and has said he will stop Messi & Argentina at any cost, when asked this is what He said;
“The best player of all time probably Lionel Messi, obviously he has done it for so many years. I would say him and Cristiano Ronaldo have been the two standout players of the last decade. There is only respect towards what they have achieved and for us now it is not just the case of preparing for Him and to beat Argentina, obviously we know how big of a part he has been part of their success over the years.”
He was asked if the match finally led to a penalty shoot-out, he said.
“We have been practicing already since the last period we have been together but it doesn’t guarantee that it in a game where you play in a full stadium with 80,000 people and there is a semi-finals at stake that everything will go the same so try to do as much as possible in order to be ready for it but hopefully we don’t come to that stage and we can decide the game before getting into extra time or penalty but if it’s there we have to be ready for it. We practiced as much as possible.”
It will be a thrilling match for them as both teams will play today.
