Liverpool’s center-back Virgil Van Dijk will still be out of action for more than a month as revealed by their Manager Jurgen Klopp. The Netherlands players had a hamstring injury during the playoff between Liverpool and Brentford United.
In a press statement Klopp said.
“It was a surprise for us and obviously a big blow. He didn’t feel a lot, I took him off actually and the risk I was not clear maybe He would have tried and stuff like this so in the undiagnosed was pretty harsh and we talk about weeks and more than a month but I hope that it goes quick but we have to see but for now he’s not available and that’s how it is and we have all the center hops.”
“As long as that’s the case everything is okay for the team but for Virgil obviously it’s hard but for him He played incredibly amount of games over the last years to be honest. We cannot use him on the pitch at least but only off the pitch will do that.”
