Newcastle United’s midfielder Joelinton has been charged with drink driving, he was arrested in the early hours of this morning.
He was arrested at 1:20 AM this morning and subsequently charged with drinking above the prescribed limit for alcohol. He will appear before magistrates in Newcastle on January 26th which is 5 days before the EFL Semi-finals second leg against Southampton. Newcastle are aware of the incident but are not commenting for now.
