Marcel was at the training camp alongside his new teammates and left many to ask the question on if He will debut on their next fixture which is against Crystal Palace.
Erik Ten Hag commented on this at a press briefing
“He is very good and of course He did only one session but you can see He is a very fit player and He did it at a different expectation, he is coming from Bayern Munich. Germans are always fit, always good so I think He is ready to play.”
He was also asked if He had seen enough from Marcel to be in the first 11 and to also debut in fixtures soon.
“I think He is a really smart player and I think we can give him some guidance but I think He knows what to do, He knows the job.”
