Edo North Senator, Adams Oshiomhole and Edo APC Governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo have been cautioned to desist from rubbishing the legacy of Chief Tony Anenih and his son.
According to the Esan natives, Oshiomhole is beginning to bite the finger that once fed him.
“Oshiomole’s abusive tendencies against Chief Tony Anenih is an abuse on the collective sensitivity of the entire Esan race.
“We the entire Esan sons and daughters are saying this is becoming too much of an abuse from Oshiomole on the Esan people.
“Oshiomole’s abuses against Ose Anineh are completely unacceptable. Oshiomhole has acted uncivilized by his ‘senseless’ dragging and verbal abusing of of our revered sons and daughters for too long.
“His dirty politics will never be accepted by the sons and daughters of Esan-land.
“Oshiomole is hell-bent on destroying our heritage in Esan land, and we will not sit by and just watch. We will resist him by every decent and lawful means. We will prove that the silence of we Esan people is not cowardice.
“We call on Adams Oshiomole to tender an unreserve apology to Ose Anineh and to the entire Esan race and we caution Adams Oshiomhole to salvage whatever is still left of his political relevance in Edo State and learn decorum even as we are all sure that the ambition of his godson, Monday Okpebholo, is already an exercise in futility,” Andrew Enantomhen, of the natives of Esan land, said.
“The people of Esan land are completely resolved on voting for Asue Ighodalo. This decision is not up for debate or re-consideration as the situation has become more serious with Adams Oshiomhole thinking he can use verbal abuses to intimidate the people of Esan land to vote for his own godson. We will at the polls prove to Adams Oshiomhole that we are resolute and fearless and noble people in Esan land and when we vote on September 21, 2024 we will vote for a candidate who is by name Asue Ighodalo,” the Esan natives further said.
