Nigerian passport fees increased.

To enhance the quality and integrity of the Nigerian Standard Passport, the Federal Government has announced a fee increase, effective September 1, 2024.

The new fees are as follows: a 32-page passport with a five-year validity will now cost N50,000, up from N35,000, while a 64-page passport with a 10-year validity will now cost N100,000, up from N70,000.

This adjustment aims to maintain the passport’s integrity and quality.”

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) acknowledges that the fee increase may cause some inconvenience to prospective applicants, but assures the public of its steadfast dedication to transparency and exceptional service delivery.

The NIS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity in its services, and this fee adjustment is a step towards achieving that goal.
