“Evgenii Kuvshinov, a 26-year-old Russian tourist, was arrested in Thailand for allegedly engaging in a disturbing incident involving animals.
According to reports, Kuvshinov stripped naked and approached a male bull before turning his attention to a female cow tied to a fence.
He allegedly attempted to mount the female cow, but she reacted violently, pinning him to the ground and causing injuries.
Police found Kuvshinov with abrasions and wounds on his rear and transported him to the hospital.
The circumstances suggest that Kuvshinov was attempting to engage in inappropriate behavior with the animal.
“Police Lieutenant Thongchai Chaikit of Ban Na Doem Police Station reported that on Thursday, August 15, at 5:40 pm, they received a report of a foreign individual involved in a disturbance with a cow.
Upon arrival, officers found the suspect being attacked by the cow, which had charged at him as he attempted to restrain it by gripping its head.
According to witnesses, the suspect had initially approached a male cow before moving on to a female cow and attempting to climb onto it.
The suspect was speaking in Russian, seemingly incoherently, and did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol. The timely arrival of the rescue squad prevented further injury to the suspect.
Upon further investigation, police found marijuana and a torn passport in Kuvshinov’s vehicle.
According to Police Lieutenant Chaikit, Kuvshinov is currently being held at the local police station, as hospital staff deemed him unfit for admission due to his erratic behavior.
The police are now awaiting the arrival of tourist police and immigration authorities to assist with the investigation.
It is suspected that Kuvshinov has overstayed his visa in Thailand and will be repatriated to Russia.
