NLC President Joe Ajaero Released After Police Questioning

Nigeria Labour Congress President Joe Ajaero has been released after responding to a police invitation at the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) Headquarters on August 29.

The IRT is a unit of the Nigeria Police Force’s Force Intelligence Bureau.

Ajaero was previously invited by the police to answer questions regarding alleged involvement in terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.

After initially failing to appear, he rescheduled for today and arrived at the premises at 10:17 am, accompanied by notable figures including Femi Falana, SAN, Marshal Abubakar, Deji Adeyanju, and other senior NLC officials.
