#EndBadGovernance Protesters Remanded in Kuje and Suleja

The Federal High Court, presided over by Justice Emeka Nwite, has ordered the remand of 10 #EndBadGovernance protesters, with 9 males to be held at Kuje prison and 1 pregnant female at Suleja Correctional Service, until September 11, 2024.

This follows their arraignment by the Federal Government on a 6-count charge, including treason, inciting mutiny, and destruction of public property.

The suspects pleaded not guilty, and their counsel’s oral bail application was denied due to the capital punishment associated with the charges.

The court adjourned the bail hearing to September 11, while the defense counsel expressed satisfaction with the police’s handling of the arraignment.
