British Women Share Disturbing Accounts of Alleged Rape and Strangulation by Andrew Tate
Two British women have bravely spoken to the BBC about their traumatic experiences with Andrew Tate, a controversial social media influencer.
They allege that Tate raped and strangled them, with one incident dating back to 2013.
Another woman has come forward with a new allegation of rape against Tate’s younger brother, Tristan.
Andrew Tate’s Denial and Charges
Tate, 37, and his brother Tristan, 36, are currently facing charges in Romania for human trafficking and forming an organized group to exploit women sexually.
Andrew Tate is also charged with rape.
Both brothers deny the charges and could face over 10 years in prison if found guilty.
Prosecutors are considering new allegations against Andrew Tate, including having sex with a minor and trafficking underage persons.
Both brothers are also being investigated for trafficking 34 more women.
Two women, Anna and Sienna, shared their disturbing experiences with the BBC.
Anna alleged that Tate raped her in 2013, saying he strangled her and sent disturbing messages afterward.
Sienna described a similar story, claiming Tate attacked her and strangled her during sex, leaving her with a bloodshot eye.
BBC Panorama is aware of five women in the UK who say they were strangled by Tate during sex.
When interviewed, Tate denied ever having strangling or having sex with a woman without her consent.
However, his online persona promotes a message of dominating women, with videos and posts that have gained him millions of followers worldwide.
Anna reported the alleged attack to Bedfordshire Police in 2014, but the Crown Prosecution Service decided there was not enough evidence to bring charges.
Sienna regrets not going to the police and hopes that sharing her story will encourage others to come forward.
