35-year-old Felix Vhimg was found dead near a stream in Ogun State, under mysterious circumstances, days after he was reported missing from the Ojowo area of Ijebu Igbo.
Felix had reportedly arrived in the community on Monday, November 11, to visit his brother, Robert Sunday. After an evening together, he left his brother’s home around 9 p.m., intending to return to his own residence.
However, concerns quickly arose when Robert learned that Felix never made it home that night.
Alarmed, Robert filed a missing person report with local police, and search efforts were carried out.
Unfortunately, despite days of searching, Felix’s whereabouts remained unknown until November 13, when his lifeless body was discovered near a stream. Authorities noted a wound on his forehead near his left eye, raising suspicions of foul play.
Upon receiving the report, a police team responded to the scene, retrieved the body, and transported it to Alayangbe Private Morgue for a full autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The case has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Ijebu Igbo for further investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding Felix’s untimely death.
