Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, has revealed his intention to likely end his playing career with Al-Nassr, his current club in Saudi Arabia.
In an interview with Portuguese outlet NOW, Ronaldo expressed his happiness with the club and the country, stating, “I don’t know if I will retire soon, but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr.”
Ronaldo, who turns 40 in February, is focused on continuing to play and has no plans to retire soon.
He also shared his approach to leaving the national team, saying it would be a spontaneous yet well-thought-out decision.
When asked about his future, Ronaldo ruled out coaching, saying, “It doesn’t even cross my mind. I don’t see my future going through that.”
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 on a reported ÂŁ175-million-per-year deal after leaving Manchester United.
