Enugu Police Identify Officer Responsible for Musician Igbo-Jah’s Death

In Enugu State on October 25, 2024, a renowned traditional Ogene musician, Okezie Chikezie Mba, popularly known as Igbo-Jah, was allegedly killed by a police officer.
The Enugu State Police Command has released photos of the officer responsible, identified as Inspector Ozonwanji Joseph.
According to reports, Igbo-Jah had visited the Squad’s Headquarters and was leaving when, for reasons unknown, Inspector Joseph fired his rifle, hitting the musician.
Rushed to the hospital, Igbo-Jah was sadly confirmed dead by the attending doctor. His body has been deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
