The Football Association of Wales have agreed to pay both Men and Women’s national team equal pay. This agreement is only tailored to thier senior players and is expected to run till 2027.
The Wales men senior team have agreed to have a 25% pay cut which will also be reflected in a 25% pay rise for the women’s senior team. This makes Wales to join other countries like USA, England, Brazil, Australia in all paying thier senior team the same match fee.
