Five Charged in Connection with Liam Payne’s Death in Argentina

According to reports from Argentinian online newspaper Infobae, five individuals have been charged in connection with the singer’s untimely demise.
The charges were levied by a judge, with two of the accused being remanded in custody.
Among those charged is Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores, a friend of Liam’s who claimed to have left the singer at the CasaSur Palermo hotel approximately an hour before the fatal incident.
Infobae reports that Nores has been charged with negligent homicide. Additionally, Braian Paiz, a waiter who admitted to using drugs, including cocaine, with Liam, has been charged with supplying narcotics for payment.
Ezequiel Pereyra, an employee of the CasaSur hotel, has also been charged with supplying drugs. Meanwhile, hotel managers Gilda Martín and Esteban Grassi have been charged with manslaughter. All five individuals have been summoned to appear in court.
Liam Payne’s tragic death occurred on October 16, when he fell from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The singer was just 31 years old at the time of his passing.
A thorough investigation into Liam’s death was launched by the authorities, with Nores initially denying any involvement. However, a 911 call made on the day of Liam’s death suggested that the singer had been acting aggressively and may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Esteban Grassi, the chief receptionist at the hotel, claimed that Liam had called down “insistently” to request alcohol and inquire about obtaining cocaine. Grassi alleged that Liam had insulted a member of staff who refused to assist him.
Furthermore, text messages purportedly exchanged between Liam and an escort revealed that the singer had offered her $5,000 to “party.” These messages have raised concerns about Liam’s mental health and potential substance abuse issues.
It was reported that a psychiatrist had emailed Nores to express concerns about Liam’s mental health. The psychiatrist allegedly warned that it was “impossible” to continue supporting Liam due to the risks associated with mixing antidepressants and alcohol.
Braian Nahuel Paiz and Ezequiel David Pereyra, both accused of supplying narcotics to Liam, had previously invoked their right to remain silent during a hearing. However, following a thorough police investigation, both defendants have been charged with the crime of supplying narcotics for payment, which carries a potential sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
