Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the former Secretary to the Kano State government, has made certain claims against Governor Abba Yusuf and his political mentor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Bichi alleges that he possesses compromising documents, voice recordings, and videos that expose the duo’s wrongdoing, which he vows to reveal “when the time is right.”
Bichi’s statements are his first public address since Governor Yusuf dismissed him and five other commissioners from his position in December 2024.
The former SSG, who had just returned from Saudi Arabia, addressed his supporters on Thursday, promising to shed light on the actions of his former political allies.
“I’m happy that I have finished my tenure in peace,” Bichi said. “As you know, this is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate time, we will expose them so that people will understand the kind of people they are.”
He further described Governor Yusuf and Kwankwaso as “not trustworthy people” who are “very deceptive” and only know “treachery and betrayal.”
“They are not trustworthy people. They’re very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted.
Bichi said that he has meticulously documented evidence, including written, audio, and video records, to support his claims.
