Nigerian Afrobeat star Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has left fans in shock with his announcement of a planned hiatus from releasing new music.
The beloved artist, whose music career has consistently delivered hits since his debut, revealed that he would take a step back from the limelight after the release of his much-anticipated EP Uncle K, which is set to drop on November 29, 2024.
“After this, I no dey drop anything again until 2026,” Kizz Daniel disclosed on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday.
The announcement sparked an outpouring of reactions from his loyal fanbase, the “Vaddicts,” who expressed a mix of heartbreak and understanding at the news.
Recall that Kizz Daniel revealed that his wife recently lost her mother to breast cancer.
“My wife lost her mom to breast cancer, and I’m here mourning with her,” he wrote in an emotional post. “Say a prayer for her mom, Vaddicts.”
