Portugal has a new head coach, Roberto Martinez

Portugal has appointed Roberto Martinez as the new Head Coach of the team as He succeeds Fernando Santos who left the role after eight years in charge, this comes as Portugal was knocked out of the World Cup after they suffered a defeat from Morocco.

It is unclear how long his contract will last but many are wondering if He would allow Cristiano Ronaldo on the team, Martinez arguably might have been given unrealistic expectations when he was at Belgium but might get another chance at glory with the Portugal team.

Martinez led the team at Belgium to 56 victories and 11 loses which is quite impressive and might be a good thing that He is now the Head Coach of Portugal.
