President Tinubu Praises Military for Neutralizing Notorious Bandit Leader

President Bola Tinubu has praised the military for their successful operation in neutralizing notorious bandit leader, Halilu Sububu, who had been wreaking havoc in Zamfara, Sokoto, and other parts of the Northwest.

In a statement released on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu commended the security operatives for their exemplary performance, which has bolstered confidence in their ability to secure the nation.

According to Onanuga, “The success of these operations serves as a testament to the capabilities of our security forces, demonstrating their capacity to ensure peace and security across the country.”

He highlighted that the military’s achievements were a direct result of President Tinubu’s directive to the service chiefs to relocate to the affected zone until normalcy is restored.

President Tinubu extended his appreciation to the military high command, intelligence agencies, and troops for their collaborative efforts, dedication, and valor, which have led to the recent successes.

 

He acknowledged their tireless efforts in tackling the security challenges facing the nation and expressed his confidence in their ability to maintain the momentum.

President Tinubu also praised the entire security apparatus for their efforts in improving security across the nation.

 

He encouraged them to maintain their vigilance and continue their efforts until all immediate and latent threats are completely eradicated.

The President reiterated his commitment to supporting the security agencies in achieving their primary objective of ensuring the safety and security of the nation.
