Prof. Amos Utuama, Ex-Delta Deputy Governor, Passes Away at 77

Professor Amos Utuama, the former Deputy Governor of Delta State, has sadly passed away at the age of 77.
He died in the early hours of Saturday, November 2, in Lagos after battling a prolonged illness.
Utuama, a renowned Senior Advocate of Nigeria, served as Deputy Governor under Emmanuel Uduaghan from 2007 to 2015 and was a dedicated member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),
His contributions to the state’s development and unification, particularly in Delta Central, were highly praised by Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, who recently congratulated Utuama on his 77th birthday.
During his career, Utuama also held the position of Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Delta State under Governor James Ibori’s administration.
