President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and business mogul Alhaji Aliko Dangote are set to headline the 2024 Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit, scheduled to take place in Abuja from November 5 to 7.
President Tinubu will deliver the keynote address as the special guest of honor, while Dangote will share his expertise as the guest speaker.
According to Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), this year’s event is expected to draw over 2,000 participants, with 500 attendees and exhibitors physically present in Abuja and others joining virtually.
At a recent media briefing in Abuja, Dabiri-Erewa emphasized the significance of the event, stating,
“We are honoured to announce that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will serve as our special guest of honor. This underscores the significance of this event and the Diaspora in our president’s agenda.”
The Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit, now in its seventh edition, has been a key platform for diaspora investment since its launch in 2018.
The event aims to empower the diaspora community to invest their resources, expertise, and networks in promoting economic growth and creating opportunities in Nigeria.
