Umo Eno Announces N20,000 & N30,000 Monthly Support for Undergraduates & Postgraduates

Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has announced a significant increase in monthly financial support for students from the state.

During the Youths Appreciation Rally held at Uyo Township Stadium on Wednesday, Governor Eno revealed that undergraduates will now receive N20,000 monthly, while postgraduate students will receive N30,000 monthly.

Additionally, students pursuing professional courses in medicine, law, engineering, and agriculture, as well as all medical, law, engineering, and agriculture undergraduate students, will also receive the increased amount of N30,000 monthly.

Governor Eno stated, “We are committed to supporting our students’ academic pursuits. As such, we have increased the bursary award for all undergraduates from N10,000 to N20,000, effective this academic session. Furthermore, students studying medicine, law, engineering, agriculture, and all postgraduate students will receive N30,000 monthly. This increased financial support is our way of showing appreciation for our youths and investing in their future.”
