Local youths apprehended a middle-aged woman over accusations that she caused the mysterious disappearance of a young man’s manhood in Asaba Main Market in Delta State.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the woman was detained after a man in his early 30s publicly accused her of rendering him impotent following a brief physical interaction.
The mob quickly encircled the woman, demanding that she undo the alleged spell.
Videos surfaced online showing the woman pleading for mercy as the crowd pressed her for answers.
During an intense interrogation by the mob, she admitted that a man based on Summit Road in Asaba had created a charm for her. According to her, this charm caused any man she touched—or who touched her—to lose his manhood.
“I don’t know how many men have been affected,” she confessed, her voice trembling under the pressure. “Any man who touches me or I touch loses his manhood. If I meet the man who prepared the charm for me, he can help reverse it. I don’t have his phone number, but I know where to find him.”
The woman remained in the custody of the youths, who were deliberating whether to involve law enforcement in the matter.
Authorities have not yet issued a formal statement regarding the incident.
