Kanye West is determined to acquire social media platform Parler which is an American social networking service that is closely associated with conservatives. It largely accommodates those who have been banned from Twitter and have been described as an alternative to Twitter. The deal is expected to be finalized before the end of 2022.
Kanye West who now goes by the name Ye, has been added to the famous list of celebrities who want to “fight” the woke media and censorship of free speech. Ye along with other notable celebrities such as Elon Musk’s on going Twitter deal and Donald Trump’s Truth Social are on a band wagon of peace and equality.
Parler is a direct competitor to Truth Social and is currently unclear on what direction Ye would like to take the with the platform, Parler currently has less than 2 million subscribers and with the large followings Ye has, it could be a new game changer for the platform.
