$15000 for a Twitter blue check mark?

Elon Musk admits that a lot of ex-Twitter staffs were collecting up to $15000 for twitter’s blue check mark, these of course was done privately after they had publicly denied you of this entry. This resulted in a lot of accounts that were surplus and were not used for any good on the platform.

This illegal practice might be put to an halt as Elon Musk took over Twitter as the new CEO early this month, this is a far difference from the $8 that users are to pay for verification on the app. Elon has been on a roll or more like a juggernaut since he became the new owner and CEO of the micro-blogging site and he is cleaning house with moves like firing former executives, firing half the workforce and now adding a paid verification feature to root out trolls and bot accounts which was one of the reasons Musk was reluctant to not go with the deal in the first place.

There has also been reports that some of Elon’s Tesla employees are with the engineers at Twitter to see how to make the platform better than it was.
