Comrade Clement Botuboh Francis has on Monday charged all the Members-elect of 8th Delta State House of Assembly to vote for Rt. Kenneth Oboro Preyor of Bomadi Local Government Area, for position of Speaker.
“For effective leadership of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly and in the spirit of fairness, justice and equity to the Ijaw-nation, the Members-elect must cast their votes for Rt. Hon. Kenneth Oboro Preyor.
“We the Delta Ijaw Youth Council congratulate all the Ijaw-speaking Members-elect and all Members-elect of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly. As they get inaugurated tomorrow, June 13, 2023; we charge them to place the good and progress of Delta State above their personal desires,” Comrade Francis said.
“With Rt. Hon. Kenneth Oboro Preyor as Speaker of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly, Delta State House of Assembly for the next four years will be well-led and the Executive as led by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori will be well-supported on its good intents for the people of Delta State,” Comrade Francis further said.
