Sean Diddy Combs Indicted on Sex Trafficking Charges

Sean Combs ( also known as P Diddy), the legendary music producer and entertainment mogul, has found himself at the center of a shocking scandal.

Federal prosecutors unsealed a criminal indictment on Tuesday, accusing him of organizing a sex trafficking conspiracy that involved physical abuse, drug-fueled sexual exploitation, and secret video recording.

The three-count indictment charges Combs with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for the purposes of prostitution.

Prosecutors allege that Combs used his power and influence to manipulate and control victims, forcing them into prostitution and subjecting them to a horrifying ordeal.

Combs was arrested in a Manhattan hotel lobby on Monday night and is scheduled to appear in court shortly.

Prosecutors have requested that he be denied bail, citing his history of obstructing justice and attempting to intimidate witnesses.

The indictment references a civil lawsuit filed by Cassie Ventura, Combs’ former protege and girlfriend, in which she accused him of years of sexual abuse and manipulation.

Ventura’s suit, filed under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, alleges that Combs forced her to engage in humiliating and degrading acts while he filmed them.

The indictment also mentions ‘Freak Offs,’ events allegedly coordinated by Sean Combs involving the interstate and international transportation of commercial sex workers.
These events reportedly occurred frequently, sometimes spanning multiple days, and involved multiple commercial sex workers.
Prosecutors allege that Combs provided substances to victims to maintain compliance.
Additionally, Combs allegedly recorded videos of victims engaging in sex acts with commercial sex workers without their knowledge.
Following Combs’ private settlement with Cassie Ventura, multiple individuals, including singer Dawn Richard, filed civil suits in Manhattan federal court alleging abuse by Combs, including during her time in musical groups Danity Kane and Dirty Money.
