According to reports, Baumgartner and Connor’s romance began to blossom during her divorce proceedings from Costner. The couple was first spotted together in Hawaii in July 2023, and by January 2024, it was confirmed that they were dating.
Connor was reportedly a neighbor of the couple during their marriage and became entangled in their divorce dispute.
After 18 years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce in May 2023, citing April 11, 2023, as the date of their separation. The divorce was finalized in 2024, with both parties reaching a settlement after a prolonged legal battle.
Kevin Costner has spoken publicly about the pain and devastation he felt following his divorce from Baumgartner.
Baumgartner and Connor’s engagement was confirmed by People Magazine, which reported that Connor proposed to Baumgartner on January 26, 2025, during a romantic beachside getaway in Santa Barbara, California. Baumgartner reportedly said “yes” to the proposal.
