Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of Lagos Monarch’s Son by Gunmen

Tragedy struck in Lagos State on Monday as Demola, the eldest son of Ojomu of Ajiran land, Tijani Akinloye, was fatally shot.

The incident occurred along Chevron Drive in the Lekki area, sending shockwaves of fear throughout the community.

The area was deserted, with residents advised to avoid the Chevron, Agungi, and Ajiran areas due to concerns about safety.

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the killing and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“This is to notify all residents that Ajiran (Agungi) king’s son was assassinated today along Chevron Drive (close to Ebeano Supermarket) this morning,” the statement read.

“We therefore plead to our esteemed residents to avoid the Chevron area, Agungi and Ajiran for now for their safety.”
