The only daughter of legendary musician Elvis Presley has died after suffering a cardiac arrest which began shortly after she was found none responding in her home by her house keeper. She was immediately taken to a LA hospital to undergo immediate surgery but was pronounced dead after a long medical procedure.
She had earlier attended the Golden Globes Award ceremony for a biopic about her late father called Elvis. She is survived by her three children. Her mother put out a statement to People Magazine saying;
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share this devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.”
“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for our privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers, at this time there will be no further comments.”
