Alphabet to lay off more than 5% of it’s employees.

Alphabet is set to lay off 10,000 of its employees with majority of these layoffs to start at Google, one of Alphabet’s company. The company aims to target workers who are ‘Underperforming’, the median annual salary of a google employee is $300,000 which could be a major reason why the massive layoff will happen.

These layoffs are supposed to reduce cost as the company has been losing money these year as advertisers have slow down spending on various tech platforms across America. Alphabet currently has a total amount of 180,000 employees worldwide making it one of the largest Tech companies in the world.
