As Chairman Mohammed declared, “By the power vested in the Commission, I hereby wish to confirm the results earlier collected and returned by the returning officers. I am confirming these results as follows: APC won the 23 local government chairmanship positions and the 255 ward councillorship positions across the state.”
The breakdown of councillorship positions showed the APC winning in various wards, including Birnin Gwari (11 wards), Chikun (12 wards), Giwa (11 wards), Igabi (12 wards), and others.

Chairman Mohammed praised the Commission’s staff, saying, “I commend our Commissioners, the Secretary to the Commission, Directors of the Commission, Electoral Officers, their assistants, and other staff of the Commission who have worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this exercise.”
