Atiku Abubakar had approached the court to compel the university to release Tinubu’s records.
The Chicago State University has as of 6pm (Nigeria Time) on Monday released the academic records of Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, following requests by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 2023 elections.
Atiku had approached the US District Court in Northern Illinois to compel the university to release Tinubu’s academic records, arguing that it would boost his suit challenging the President’s election in the February 25 presidential poll.
Over the weekend, the court ordered the Chicago CSU to release the academic records of Tinubu.
Attached are some of the documents released by the school.
