If there is any country that has been a ‘copy cat’ of the United States of America is China. They have seem to follow the trends of them and it’s obvious, the United States is the most powerful nation in the world but that is rapidly changing as other countries seem to catch-up or even overtake them.
In the latest adoption of 5G network deployed in developed countries like U.S.A, Chinese technology researchers just reached a Wireless transmission speed of 200 gigabit per second, which is said to be 10 to 20 times faster than the 5th generation (5G) network that most people are being introduced to in Africa today, with that sort of speed you can download a 50 gigabyte file in less than 30 seconds.
The technology is expected to be deployed in China by 2030 and probably the rest of the world, with the uncertainty that went on about on the “danger” of 5G, the 6G technology is expected to be 100 times faster than 5G and safe to use.
5G is quite expensive at the moment which has resulted in it’s slow growth rate in Africa but with high demand and subsequent discount and the help of each African leadership, it should be adopted faster than expected.
