The former Everton forward Duncan Ferguson has been appointed as the new Manager of Forest Green Rovers.
Forest Green Rovers owner Dale Vince said when they were busy recruiting in January which included six or seven signings, one of the agents of the players said that Duncan was interested but we hadn’t made that decision yet because the vacancy wasn’t available at the time but when the time came, we reached out to Duncan and he accepted the offer.
On speaking to the press Dale Vince said;
“We want to extend the vision of the club to the next vision, we want to move up and move on. This guy here (club owner) is a very ambitious and so am I, so I want to get the best for the club and hopefully we can move up the division and in the next one. This is a fantastic club and what they have done over the last four to five years has been incredible and obviously they have got a big future ahead of them. There is a new stadium coming and new training grounds coming so you it is something I am looking forward to being a part of.”
