The Twitter saga is not over yet but the richest man in the world sure needs a break from all that as he made a demonstration of his team’s advancement in Neuralink.
The demonstration was shown through a demo of a Monkey typing with its mind, in which the Monkey telepathic typed ‘welcome to show and tell.’ The Monkey also made a request for snacks in which a screen of fruits was shown to it which it took a choice of grape and it was given grapes as its reward.
He said after the first testing that is an offline testing with a plastic model brain simulator, before they even think of putting a device into animals to ensure the safety of any animal used as a test subject.
Musk said that they are still at Prototype face and it is insanely difficult but they have come a long way and he believes that Neuralink interface will be in a human soon as they have submitted their paper work to the FDA 6 months ago.
The neurallink interface will be able to be upgradable when it needs to be.
