The French Football Federation President Noel Le Graet will be stepping down from his role as President after getting into heated waters over the week with some other rumoured events.
This all started when Didier Deschamps the current head coach of France had his contact extended till after the next European competition but it was suggested by many both internally and externally that former French player and Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane would make a great fit. When Noel was asked about this suggestion from people, he told the press that even if Zidane called him he wouldn’t pick up the call.
This was widely viewed as negative remark by the FFF President but got so intensified when well known names criticized him for that particular statement, from another perspective has been accused of sexual misconduct in which He has denied but with this added heat to the FFF it seemed the best was for him to resign in order not to draw more attention.
The main cause of this decision is not clear yet but a statement of some sort is expected from Noel Le Graet soon.
