The American Boxer and 3 time BWAA award winner Floyd Mayweather who is also a friend of Will Smith supported his friend after the slap at the Oscars that happened at the 94th academy awards in 2022, Will Smith said that the boxer called him every day for about 10 days everyday supporting him.
Floyd told Smith ‘ you know you are the champ right’.
At the moment, the academy have still held their ban on Will Smith ever attending the Oscar ceremony for 10 years until further notice. Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss which apparently made Will angry forcing him to walk up stage and slap the comedian. The resolution between the two hasn’t been ironed out fully yet.
