A spokesperson for the Leicester Police expressed gratitude to the community for their cooperation during the investigation.
Detective Constable Sean Downey said, “This incident underscores the grave dangers of violent disorder. We are fortunate that the injuries sustained were not more severe or fatal. This could have been a very different investigation.”
