In a recent interview with 2023.ng, foremost politician and social commentator, Hon. Aliyu Usman Waziri threw his weight on the strident approach the President Tinubu’s administration has exerted in governance in the last 30 days.
“Actually, there are periods considered a benchmark to measure the early success of a President, but thus far I must commend the President and his entire team on how they have approached things. The last 30 days of their Presidential term took off in symbolic significance. All the decisions they have made thus far are just the way to go. President Tinubu is highly experienced in all edges of governance; and it is obvious in his decision-making. I am glad they immediately hit the ground running,” Hon. Aliyu Usman Waziri said.
He also commended the Vice President, and calls him a “prudent leader”.
“I have always nodded in the affirmative to everything Vice President, Kashim Shetimma is poised on. He is a creative and remarkable leader. He started creating his vice-presidential footprint during the first few days. He knows his onions. The sectors he picked himself up from are obviously going to be useful in heading to the Economic Council. He is a product of the banking sector and a farmer; I see him as a core political economist. He is tech-driven and a prudent leader,” Aliyu Usman Waziri asserted.
“I am also excited about the reshuffling at the 10th National Assembly. There will be dynamics that would come in handy for every Nigerian once NASS is in concert with the Presidency, so that they can quickly begin attempting to foster support for the President’s economic stimulus package. I am very confident about where this country is going to under President Bola Tinubu’s watch,” Hon. Aliyu Usman Waziri concluded.
